This week ATIVO Maintenance & Project Services announced that they will be recognising the achievements of Australia’s  future  trades and technical professionals by introducing the "ATIVO Apprentice of the Year” Award.

ATIVO and Pacific Relines sponsor many apprentices, and this award is a valuable way  to give recognition to those employees who have excelled in their trade in the past year. Judged on their learning and work performance, as well as their attitude to safety, extra-curricular activities and contribution to the community,the successful apprentice will receive a trophy and a cash prize ($1,000) at the inaugural Apprentice of the Year function in early 2010.

ATIVO recognises that today’s apprentices and trainees are one of Australia’s most valuable resources.  The provision of apprenticeships is another way ATIVO assists our clients and the communities in which we operate  to prepare for the impending skills shortages as several mega-projects start to ramp up across Australia. By providing apprenticeships and traineeships ATIVO is demonstrating a firm commitment to the future of the Australian economy.
